Everything you need to know before you walk through the door.
Nope! Most people come solo. We rotate partners in class so everyone dances. It's also one of the best ways to meet people — our community is incredibly welcoming.
That's exactly who this class is for! We start from scratch — no experience required. Our instructors break everything down step by step. Almost everyone in our community started as a complete beginner.
Anything comfortable. Jeans, leggings, a t-shirt — whatever you'd wear to hang out. Smooth-soled shoes work best (avoid rubber soles that grip). Socks work too. No need to buy dance shoes.
The best part! After the beginner class, there's a social dance (Saturday) or practica (Sunday) where you can practice what you just learned in a relaxed, fun environment. The DJ plays great music and everyone is friendly. Your class admission includes the social — stay as long as you like!
We're at 251 N. US Hwy 17-92 in Fern Park (just north of Orlando). Free parking in the plaza lot with overflow behind the building. Easy to find — look for the BSO sign!
